Obviously, we want to use the cheapest possible Arduino board available. However, there is a cloned version of the Arduino which uses CH340 chip to communicate with the computer. This type of Arduino board does not work well with MATLAB Simulink. Thus, it is strongly recommended to select the Arduino board that DOES NOT come with CH340 chip.
